Accommodations in the Saratoga Springs area can be extremely expensive at the end of July and into August because of the races at the local horse tracks. Prices for a double-occupancy hotel room will usually be upwards of 200 dollars a night. However, our people talked to the people at the Queensbury Hotel and they were kind enough to allow us to reserve a block of 25 rooms for two nights in July, which is prime time for them. Additionally, they gave us the rooms at the phenomenal price of (drum roll) 90 dollars a night.
